Job Skills / Requirements

Corporate Security Officer - New York, NY

Pay: $19-$21 Per hour (Based on experience)

Working Schedules: Rotates Weekly - Must be available for both.

• Monday-Friday | 6:30am-2:00pm
• Monday-Friday | 2:00pm-10:00pm

Overview:We are seeking polished, customer-focused Security Officers to support a professional corporate security environment. This role combines the protection of people, property, and assets with a high level of customer service. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, discretion, strong communication skills, and excellent situational awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible yet discreet presence; professionally greet clients and staff
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sales areas to prevent theft or disruptions
• Conduct routine patrols
• Respond quickly to suspicious activity, incidents, or emergencies
• Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Communicate effectively with management, team members, and law enforcement
• Support a safe, welcoming environment

Required Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Security Guard License
• 1-2 years of security experience
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
• Flexible availability for rotating schedules

Preferred:

• Experience in corporate security, loss prevention, or similar environments
• Candidates are encouraged to dress in business professional attire for the interview.
