    We're seeking a future team member for the role of Corporate Security Engineering - Lead Engineer to join our Corporate Engineering team. This role is in New York City. We are seeking an expert Engineer who is also a subject matter expert in Physical Security. You will own the Engineering implementation of the software platforms that power our Physical Security business partners globally, with a primary focus on operating, engineering, and migrating to Genetec solutions for Access Control and CCTV. You will also work with non-Genetec solutions that serve the needs of BNY's Corporate Security team globally. This role can be in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL (4 days in-office expected).

    • In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

    • Lead and grow a high-performing global team of engineers responsible for designing, deploying, and operating physical security platforms (access control and video).

    • Provide end-to-end system management for our global Genetec Security Center (Access Control / Video) installation.

    • Drive the migration to Genetec from legacy systems (e.g., C-CURE, Victor), including architecture, cutover planning, device onboarding, integrations, data/credential migrations, and stakeholder communications.

    • Plan and execute system updates, firmware upgrades, and patches; validate rollback plans and change records.

    • Support break/fix and incident management across the Physical Security application space.

    • Onboard and implement emerging technology solutions such as biometrics and video analytics offerings.

    • Establish and report on KPIs/OKRs (uptime, MTTR, change success rate, SLA adherence, backlog throughput) and drive continuous improvement.

    • Partner closely with Physical Security operations, Network/Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, Risk/Compliance, and Facilities/Real Estate to align platform capabilities with business needs and controls.

    • To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

    • 5+ years of experience in physical security engineering, with 3-5+ years leading engineering teams or managing a global/remote team.

    • Hands-on expertise with Genetec Security solutions, including architecture/design, configuration, device onboarding, and operations at enterprise scale.

    • Experience migrating from legacy PACS/CCTV platforms (e.g., Software House C•CURE 9000, Victor Video) to Genetec, including cutover strategies and stakeholder coordination.

    • Strong Windows and Linux server administration skills; proficiency with SQL, PowerShell, and at least one additional scripting language (e.g., Python) for automation and API integrations.

    • Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, multicast/unicast, QoS, VPN, and firewall concepts; experience collaborating with network teams to design resilient architectures.

    • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, vulnerability management, identity/access governance, and logging/SIEM integrations; ability to partner effectively with Cyber and Risk/Compliance.

    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; comfortable driving outcomes across business and technology partners.
