Position Summary:
The Corporate Paralegal provides comprehensive support to the General Counsel across a broad range of legal and compliance activities. This role is responsible for administering contracts, coordinating legal documentation, supporting employment and labor matters, maintaining intellectual property and legal records, assisting with compliance initiatives, and serving as a key point of contact for legal process administration.
The Corporate Paralegal works closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to help ensure legal matters are organized, documented, and executed efficiently.
Location: Bethlehem, PA
Work Model: Hybrid schedule, typically two in office per week. As our ways of working evolve, we commit to communicating any changes clearly and with ample notice.
How You'll Impact Results:
Commercial Contracts
- Draft, revise, and administer routine agreements using approved templates, including confidentiality agreements, vendor agreements, service agreements, licensing agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Coordinate contract review, approval, execution, and retention processes with internal stakeholders and external parties.
- Implement and Maintain contract management systems, repositories, and records while tracking key dates, obligations, renewals, and notice requirements.
- Prepare contract summaries, reports, and other supporting documentation.
- Support the development and maintenance of contract templates, clause libraries, and standard terms.
Employment & Labor Support
- Support employment-related legal matters through document preparation, records management, and coordination of information requests.
- Assist with employee investigations, accommodations, policy updates, administrative agency inquiries, and outside counsel requests.
- Prepare draft correspondence, notices, and supporting documentation for attorney review.
- Maintain confidential employment-related legal files, records, and matter tracking systems.
Compliance & Regulatory Support
- Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare summaries for the General Counsel.
- Support compliance programs through administration of policies, training records, certifications, and required documentation.
- Monitor regulatory deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance-related activities.
- Assist with audits, information requests, and the development and maintenance of compliance resources and procedures.
Legal Operations
- Administer legal department systems, records, templates, trackers, and document retention processes.
- Coordinate with outside counsel and internal stakeholders on legal matters, information requests, and special projects.
- Support intellectual property administration activities, including maintenance of records, filings, renewals, and correspondence with outside counsel.
- Manage legal department invoices, budgets, spending reports, and administrative processes.
- Prepare reports and metrics related to contracts, legal matters, and department activities.
- Support legal technology initiatives, process improvements, and other projects as assigned.
Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success:
Education & Certifications
- Associate''s or Bachelor''s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited program required.
- Continuing legal education or professional certifications related to contract management, compliance, or legal operations are a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in an in-house legal department, law firm, or corporate environment.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and administering commercial contracts and related legal documentation.
- Experience supporting employment, labor, compliance, regulatory, or other corporate legal matters.
- Experience coordinating with outside counsel and managing legal records, documentation, and matter tracking processes.
- Experience utilizing contract management, document management, or other legal technology platforms preferred.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing, consumer products, food, or other regulated industry preferred.

- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, and corporate legal processes.

- Strong organizational, project management, and recordkeeping abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms, including contract and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business partners, outside counsel, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to streamline legal processes and improve efficiency.
