We are seeking a Corporate IT Administrator to join our team at Spearmint Energy. This senior individual contributor role owns the Company’s core corporate IT function: the applications, vendors, equipment, and support experience behind Spearmint’s corporate operations. Infrastructure, helpdesk, and Microsoft 365 tenant administration are outsourced to an established IT managed services provider (“MSP”), so the focus of this role is directing that provider, administering the corporate application portfolio, and delivering white-glove support where it matters most
The role works closely with Spearmint’s internal security team (which owns cybersecurity for the Company’s systems), operational technology team (which supports project-site networks and technology), and two data and software development teams. The position reports to the Chief Development Officer initially, transitioning to the Chief Operating Officer or Chief Financial Officer once in place, and supports both the Miami headquarters and, remotely and through periodic travel, the Eden Prairie, Minnesota office.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or a related field is typical for this role but not required. Equivalent experience and demonstrated capability will be considered.
Experience: 5–8+ years of progressive experience in IT administration or IT operations, including direct support of executives or other VIP users. Experience managing a managed services provider and working in a multi-office, high-growth company are strong pluses.
Service Orientation: A genuine white-glove support mindset. You are calm under pressure, discreet with sensitive information, and take personal pride in executives and events being technology-flawless.
Organization: Exceptional attention to detail across renewals, inventories, licenses, and documentation, with proven ability to hold vendors accountable for quality, timelines, and cost.
Collaboration: Comfortable owning corporate IT decisively as the sole dedicated administrator while coordinating with dedicated security, operational technology, and data teams in their domains, and communicating clearly with everyone from new hires to the board.
Adaptability: Strong capacity to manage shifting priorities in a fast-moving company preparing for public-company operations.

This is an in-office role based in Miami, Florida. Spearmint’s current policy allows up to one day per week of remote work contingent on business needs. Periodic travel to the Company’s Eden Prairie, Minnesota office is expected.
While the company’s offices operate during traditional business hours, the nature of the company’s work includes 24x7x365 operations. This role is not expected to require routine work outside normal business hours however occasional work may be required during off hours due to business needs such as communicating across time zones, traveling, supporting planned and unplanned outages or maintenance, and other business-critical needs. This role does have limited on-call responsibilities.
