Peraton is seeking a Security Administration Manager to serve as the Corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO). In this role, the incumbent will serve as a liaison with a broad reach across multiple sectors to ensure the organization remains compliant with federal regulations - specifically the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) - to protect classified information and sensitive government contracts. This individual will work closely with General Counsel, paralegals, and other corporate functions, to inform and update governing documents, coordinate across all classified programs and FSO's to provide timely updates to DCSA and other CSA, as required; establish best practices and training opportunities to ensure security personnel are made aware of new or changing policies and coordinate with Security, as well as other functions, to develop automation within the security workflows as well as the governance of NISP compliance within a multi-facility organization (MFO).
Responsibilities -
Must work on-site in Reston Town Center, VA at least four days per week as part of a hybrid schedule.
Oversee Security's standard operating procedures of security databases and system records
Become intimately knowledgeable of the company's multi-facility organizational structure and continuously update governing documents to align to new or changing DCSA policies/processes, new KMPs, etc.
Engage with DCSA's leadership, Industrial Security Representatives (ISR), and other key stakeholders across government to ensure strong partnerships, two-way lines of communications, keep apprised of changing policies, IT system, etc.
Ensure FSO's submit required documentation, changes, and sponsorships via National Industrial Security System (NISS).
Collaborate across multiple sectors to ensure Peraton's security program is consistent in executing corporate security policies and procedures across programs.
Forecast and track all government inspections/Staff Assisted Visits
Prepare, Manage, and Interface with the FSO's for upcoming Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA) audits. Specifically, provide ongoing training and brown bag lunches to discuss best practices regarding:
Required self-Inspections, incident reporting, and appropriate documentation in Peraton's system of record
Access control, storage, and accountability of classified material.
Maintaining clearances, visit requests, and personnel security records in Peraton's system of record, DISS/NBIS and other clearance repositories
Compliance with safeguarding standards including proper use of GSA-approved containers and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
Management of secure storage containers and combinations; ensure proper accountability of classified holdings.
Security briefings, training, and awareness programs.
Collaborate with group leaders, program managers, IT personnel, and cybersecurity to align security practices and ensure compliance.
Support the Insider Threat Program Senior Official.
Coordinate with the Physical Security personnel (e.g., badging, access control, required response time, etc.) to ensure compliance
Conduct trend analysis of self-inspection audits and government-sponsored inspections with after action analysis and collaboration.
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with government agencies and oversight entities to obtain rulings, approvals, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
Manage governance of security policies, including routine reviews of policies and procedures, coordinating updates with stakeholders, and implementing accordingly
In collaboration with sector security directors, review, develop and execute business processes in alignment with implementation of new government requirements and IT systems as part of Trusted Workforce 2.0
Establish and maintain partnerships with sector and functional organizations within Peraton to advance the company strategic and financial goals.
Keep informed of current and up-coming security policies and procedures in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule.

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
