Corporate Development Senior Manager

We are currently partnered with a growing organization in Northern Virginia that is looking to add a Corporate Development Senior Manager to its team. This individual will play a key role in evaluating and executing strategic growth initiatives, including M&A, acquisitions, investments, and other corporate development opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate development or investment banking professional looking to take on a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence the company's long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the full M&A lifecycle, from initial opportunity evaluation and financial analysis through due diligence, negotiation, execution, and integration planning
• Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and other strategic growth opportunities
• Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, investment cases, and transaction materials
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence efforts across finance, legal, operations, and other key stakeholders
• Prepare and present investment recommendations and strategic analyses to senior leadership
• Manage relationships with external advisors, investment banks, consultants, and other transaction partners
• Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to identify potential areas for growth
• Mentor junior team members and help drive best practices across the corporate development function

Qualifications

• Approximately 4+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking, transaction advisory or a related field
• Strong transaction experience with exposure to M&A execution
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and transactions simultaneously
• Strong communication and presentation skills with experience working alongside senior executives
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
