Job Title: Corporate Development Manager
Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 Base

We are currently partnered with a leading technology, aerospace, and defense-focused consulting and government services firm that serves as a trusted strategic partner to U.S. defense, intelligence, and federal agencies. The firm is seeking to add a Corporate Development Manager to its growing team in Washington, DC.
This individual will play a key role in the evaluation and execution of strategic acquisitions, investments, and growth initiatives. The position offers significant exposure to executive leadership, hands-on transaction experience, and the opportunity to help shape the company's long-term growth strategy. The Corporate Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Evaluating and executing mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and other corporate development initiatives.
- Conducting financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence on potential acquisition targets.
- Building and maintaining complex financial models to support investment and transaction decisions.
- Partnering closely with business leaders to assess strategic growth opportunities.
- Developing presentations and recommendations for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Managing transaction processes from initial evaluation through closing and integration planning.
Corporate Development Manager candidates should have the following qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Transaction Advisory, or a related M&A-focused role.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution experience.
- Experience evaluating and executing M&A transactions.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities with experience interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Prior experience within Aerospace & Defense, Government Services, Technology, or Industrials is highly preferred.
