APi Group is seeking a highly motivatedCorporate Development Managerto support the execution of APi Groups strategic growth objectives through mergers and acquisitions. This position plays a critical role in evaluating and executing strategic transactions that align with APi Groups focus on service-driven growth life safety and security strong free cash flow margin expansion and leadership culture.You will be responsible for leading the due diligence processes supporting transaction negotiations monitoring post-close performance and driving special projects. This role offers significant exposure to our senior leadership team and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making across a global organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the due diligence process for individual acquisitions or divestitures from initiation through final reporting.Conduct detailed financial due diligence including Quality of Earnings analysis.Coordinate and manage cross-functional due diligence teams ensuring thorough evaluation of financial operational legal tax and human capital considerations.Drive due diligence timelines resolve issues and escalate risks as appropriate.Summarize and document the findings from due diligence and ensure a clean handoff to the integration team.Support transaction evaluation valuation analysis and deal structuring activities.Lead negotiations on key terms with the sellers andor brokers within both the Letters of Intent LOIs as well as the final purchase agreement.Assist in the development and negotiation of LOIs purchase agreements and related transaction documentation.Coordinate with Accounting and Treasury to ensure accurate calculation and timely release of payments in accordance with company governance requirements.Evaluate the financial performance of acquired businesses against acquisition assumptions and investment theses.Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance value creation post-acquisition.Manage the department budget including planning monthly reviews forecasting and facilitate reclassifications if needed.QualificationsBachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.5 years of professional experience.2 years of deal experience including multiple deals with the M&A process either in accounting consulting or investment banking.Willingness to travel up to 25 of the time.Experience supporting multiple acquisition andor divestiture transactions through various stages of the deal lifecycle.Strong financial analysis including Quality of Earnings analysis valuation and risk assessment capabilities.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Benefits and CompensationThis role is based in our New Brighton MN office. The salary range for this position is 131000 - 196400 depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.
