    We are seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join our team on a remote basis with easy accessibility to the DC Metropolitan Area for meetings. The ideal candidate will:

    • Have proven ability to bring in NEW business.
    • Build client relationships.
    • Meet potential clients in person.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients; respond to their requests and work with them to resolve issues and meet their needs.
    • Schedule meetings, coordinating schedules with clients and other professionals, and confirm meetings 24 hours in advance.
    • Research potential client prospects through use of public and private media (or other sources as appropriate).

    Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any field (preferably Marketing or Business Administration)
    • Experience with the following:
      • DoD and/or Navy Industry A PLUS
      • Marketing and research
      • Strategic communication skills
    • Ability to write proposals clearly and professionally
    • Ability to operate collaboratively in a team
    • Ability to build and maintain spreadsheets tracking multiple pieces of data
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Proactive problem-solving mentality and the ability to take ownership of tasks through completion
    • Reliability and responsiveness
    • US citizenship required
