Client Details

Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking a Credit Ratings Officer to join its Corporate Ratings team. This individual will be responsible for analysing the creditworthiness of corporates across sectors, driving rating committee decisions, and engaging with senior stakeholders including issuers, investors, and internal leadership.

This role is ideal for a credit professional with strong analytical depth, prior ratings agency experience, and a commercial mindset.

Description

  • Perform in-depth fundamental credit analysis of corporate issuers across multiple industries
  • Lead the preparation of credit memoranda, financial models, and rating recommendations
  • Present and defend credit opinions in internal rating committees
  • Monitor portfolio credits proactively and update ratings as required
  • Conduct management meetings with CFOs, Treasurers, and other senior executives
  • Prepare published rating reports and maintain high-quality written analysis
  • Collaborate with sector specialists, economists, and regional teams
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and sector dynamics

Profile

  • 5-15+ years of experience in credit analysis, corporate banking, or capital markets
  • Prior experience at a recognised credit ratings agency at some point in your career
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and credit metrics
  • Demonstrated experience presenting to committees or senior stakeholders
  • Sector expertise in industries such as Industrials, Consumer, Healthcare, or TMT is preferred
  • MBA, CFA, or equivalent is advantageous

Job Offer

  • $130,000 - $220,000 base salary.
