Job Overview:
Keurig Green Mountain and Peet's Coffee are seeking an energetic marketing, advertising and food regulatory counsel with experience in modern marketing including AI and privacy, food labeling, food safety, and agency management to join our Legal team. This role report to the North America General Counsel and will focus primarily on supporting North American product development, advertising and marketing teams for great brands such as Keurig, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Peet's, Van Houtte and The Original Donut Shop.
The position requires a knowledge of food laws and regulations, advertising law, including how AI is impacting the field, as well strong drafting skills and a business mindset. An understanding of FDA, FTC, Lanham Act, provincial and state laws, as well as prior experience negotiating with agencies, content owners and talent is preferred. A willingness to flex and develop expertise in other legal areas is a plus. This is a challenging, highly visible role that requires collaboration with various functions throughout the company.
