    Description

    Hourly Pay Range:$23-$26.41

    Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm

    SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
    The position is responsible for assisting as necessary with implementing the agency’s compliance program; conducting internal compliance investigations and the internal compliance investigation process; and representing the department as requested.
     
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Conduct internal compliance investigations and prepare investigative reports as necessary. 
    • Ensure internal compliance investigations are conducted in accordance with the department’s policies and procedures and that investigative reports are finished timely and in accordance with the department’s quality guidelines.
    • Develop investigation recommendations and ensure that recommendations are implemented.
    • Monitor investigation responses to make sure programs are responding timely and appropriately to compliance investigative reports.
    • Assist with responding to government audits, surveys, and inquiries.
    • Ensure that confidential and potentially sensitive information is processed, stored, and utilized in accordance with agency policy as well as state and federal regulations and statutes.
    • Respond to questions or issues from departments and programs in a timely manner.
    • Assist with compliance training and in-services and develop training materials as necessary.
    • Represent department at meetings as requested.
    • Stay current on new compliance regulations and statutes.
    • Stay current with all required Agency and regulatory training. 
    • Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned.
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
    • 3 years related experience
    • Computer and communication knowledge or skills
    •  Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
    •  OR
    •  Equivalent combination of training and experience
    •  AND
    •  Working knowledge of developmental disabilities
    •  Must have sound judgment, flexibility, and dependability

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
