A well-established midsize law firm on Long Island is interested in adding an experienced Corporate Attorney to its growing transactional practice.

This is a strong opportunity for an attorney seeking sophisticated corporate work on a midsize platform with greater visibility, direct partner interaction, and a more collaborative environment than traditional BigLaw.

The Practice

The Corporate team advises public and private companies, entrepreneurs, investors, lenders, and other business clients across a broad range of transactional and general corporate matters, including:

Mergers & acquisitions
Debt and equity financings
Private placements and investment transactions
Corporate governance
Commercial agreements
Joint ventures and strategic transactions
Business formations and restructurings
General corporate counseling
Securities and financing-related matters

The group works closely with clients throughout the lifecycle of their businesses and provides attorneys with meaningful opportunities to take ownership of matters and develop direct client relationships.

Job Details

Ideal Background
Corporate attorney with sophisticated law firm transactional experience
Experience with M&A, financings, securities, private equity, or general corporate matters
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Comfortable working directly with clients and senior attorneys
Excellent academic credentials and communication skills
New York Bar admission required
