This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with significant experience advising employers, plan sponsors, and organizations on sophisticated employee benefits and health & welfare plan matters. - Experience advising clients on health & welfare benefit plans and related compliance matters
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, the ACA, and related legal compliance
- Experience counseling employers and plan sponsors regarding ERISA compliance, employee benefits administration, plan design, and regulatory requirements
- Experience reviewing and drafting plan documents, summary plan descriptions, employee communications, and related benefits documentation
- Experience supporting the employee benefits aspects of M&A work and other corporate transactions
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage sophisticated advisory matters while maintaining significant client interaction
- Outstanding academic credentials
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
