    Position Overview

    The Corporate Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing the month-end close process, strengthening internal controls, and driving continuous process improvements. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader with both public accounting and industry experience who thrives in a collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
    • Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting
    • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
    • Drive accounting process improvements and strengthen internal controls
    • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
    • Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
    • Coordinate external audits and work with outside auditors
    • Improve accounting systems, workflows, and operational efficiencies
    • Support strategic finance initiatives and special projects

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • CPA strongly preferred
    • 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience
    • Public accounting experience combined with private industry experience highly preferred
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
    • Experience leading accounting teams and improving financial processes
    • Experience in multi-location or multi-site organizations is highly preferred
    • Backgrounds in retail, manufacturing, distribution, staffing, consumer services, or similar industries are a plus
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
    • Desire to grow with a stable, expanding organization

    Compensation & Benefits

    Salary:$125,000–$135,000
