Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Corporate Accountant:

• 
  
• Own full-cycle project accounting from project setup through closeout.
  • Manage job costing, customer billing, AIA billings, retainage, and revenue recognition activities.
  • Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, fixed asset accounting, and month-end close support.
  • Process weekly payroll and maintain accurate labor costing and payroll reporting.
  • Partner with operations and project management teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Mentor less experienced accounting staff and help improve departmental processes and workflows.

Qualifications for the Corporate Accountant:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
  • Strong general ledger and GAAP accounting experience.
  • Experience with job costing, account reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, and payroll.
  • Construction accounting experience preferred, including WIP reporting and AIA billing.
