    Corporate Accountant
    Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Local Candidates Only
    Compensation: $85,000 to $95,000 Base Salary plus Bonus Opportunity

    Role Summary

    The Corporate Accountant will support a variety of corporate accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and reporting functions. This role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, preparing financial analyses, and supporting key accounting processes that impact the broader organization.

    The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting fundamentals, experience working within a larger corporate environment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. This position offers exposure to senior accounting leadership and opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports for the corporate general ledger
    • Support weekly forecasting activities and assist with annual budgeting processes
    • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
    • Process voided checks, invoice adjustments, and other accounting transactions as required
    • Set up and support treasury related transactions, including wire transfers
    • Review and approve accounts payable invoices through the company's approval workflow system
    • Assist with month end close and financial reporting activities
    • Perform ad hoc accounting analyses and special projects as assigned
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

    Key Requirements
    • Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and corporate accounting practices
    • Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports, and month end close activities
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and financial analysis
    • Experience working within a large ERP environment
    • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
    • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
    • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment during peak reporting periods

    Preferred Skills
    • Experience working for a medium to large publicly traded organization
    • Oracle ERP experience
    • Experience supporting accounts payable processes and invoice approval workflows
    • Experience with budgeting and forecasting activities
    • Strong tenure and demonstrated career progression with previous employers
    • Experience partnering with multiple departments across an organization
