This role serves as a liaison between physician practices and patients to help ensure patients receive timely, coordinated, and high-quality care. The Call Center Representative supports patient access, insurance eligibility verification, prior authorizations, referral processing, and communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies. Key Responsibilities Pre-register patients and verify demographic and insurance information prior to appointments and procedures. Communicate patient financial responsibilities, including co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance expectations. Review and manage insurance eligibility through Navicure reports and ensure accurate primary care provider assignments. Contact patients regarding insurance discrepancies and update information as needed before scheduled visits. Coordinate and schedule new patient appointments across Core Physicians practices. Assist patients with obtaining medical records, updating primary care provider information with insurance carriers, and navigating appointment logistics. Communicate updates, concerns, and potential barriers with practice staff. Obtain referrals and prior authorizations as required and schedule appointments with Core specialists under provider direction. Identify, track, and communicate authorization and system-related issues while helping develop solutions to address root causes. Serve as a liaison between patients, practices, and insurance companies to resolve issues efficiently. Respond to patient calls, communications, and staff inquiries within the same business day. Grant access to the Navicure website as needed and provide support and training to practice staff. Partner with the coding department to verify eligibility for hospital-based services. Advocate for patients by assisting them in navigating healthcare and scheduling processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Local Applicants only, 100% remote option once fully trained.
