About the Role

We are looking for a senior hands-on engineer to join a fast-growing tech company in the software development sector. In this role, you will contribute to owning a data and event backbone, ensuring events flow seamlessly, and managing how live and historical data are separated, stored, secured, and served.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational data backbone of a live system, focusing on core software development and transaction processing.
• Build and deliver streaming and data-modeling solutions with real depth, not just advisory roles.
• Ensure data security and integrity across streaming, object storage, and relational databases.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools to verify and direct AI-generated code and tests.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience with recent work you personally built and delivered.
• Depth in streaming/event-processing platforms, including partitioning, ordering, and consumer semantics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational data modeling.
• Experience with object storage and lakehouse security, including encryption and immutability.
• Proficiency in Python, serverless-first development, and container fluency.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience with cloud data services and key management for data stores.
• Knowledge of container orchestration and high-volume IoT/telemetry data.
• Exposure to data-intensive, operationally complex industries.
