    Description

Creative Garage is Amazon"s in-house creative studio for transportation, spanning the Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS) portfolio (Amazon Shipping, Amazon Freight, Multichannel Fulfillment, Air Cargo), last-mile delivery brands (Delivery Service Partner, Amazon Flex, Amazon Hub Delivery), and partner programs (Amazon Relay, Amazon Freight Partner). We build and own the global brands and creative expression throughout the customer journey: awareness, acquisition, engagement, retention. The work lives across marketing, sales enablement, video, web, and more, always grounded in the human stories behind logistics. We partner closely with global marketing teams and customer insights to develop creative that resonates, and we hold a high bar for everything we ship.

As a Copywriter, you"re hands-on, versatile, and strategic. You find the human story within B2B logistics and bring warmth and narrative instinct to everything you write. You"re meticulous about tone, precise with language, and proactive about identifying gaps in how we communicate. You move confidently from brief to execution with minimal supervision and thrive as part of a dynamic creative team.

You"ll drive and evolve our brand voice across all customer and internal touchpoints, from display ad headlines and sales deck narratives to campaign platforms, video scripts, event copy, and more. You distill complex service offerings into clear, compelling messaging that unifies multiple services under one voice. You"ll apply established messaging frameworks, voice guidelines, and naming conventions to ensure consistency across a growing portfolio, leveraging customer insights to inform your work.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Establish the voice and tone of global marketing campaigns in collaboration with design, strategy, and insights
    • Concept and write copy across mediums including video, digital, social, OOH, direct mail, collateral, email, partnerships, experiential, and more
    • Refine and polish raw copy from stakeholders and teammates with strong editorial instincts and grammatical precision
    • Produce high-quality, innovative work with a global and culturally relevant sensibility across a wide variety of audiences and placements
    • Adapt and evolve creative over the course of a campaign to meet changing inputs
    • Present ideas and concepts to agencies, internal partners, and leadership
    • Hold and raise the quality bar across the team"s output through copyediting, feedback, and iteration
    • Manage multiple projects to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Take ownership in ambiguous situations and come to the table with solutions

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
