Northeast Arc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our residential team at Thaxton House in Beverly, MA.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM and Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week

Thaxton House is home to a vibrant group of young adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) who thrive on structure, community involvement, and meaningful relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building connections, supporting independence, and helping individuals achieve their personal goals.

Compensation: $24.50 - $25.50 per hour
(Based on experience and certifications -CPR/FA/MAP)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and individualized supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Promote independence, community engagement, and meaningful life experiences
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration
• Support medical appointments and health-related needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe, supportive home environment

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license required
MAP Certification required
FA/CPR certification preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, bend, push wheelchairs, and provide physical intervention as needed
