Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our Bozeman studio and help lead the design and delivery of high-end residential, resort, ranch, and lifestyle projects throughout Montana and the Mountain West.

This is a hands-on role for an architect who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of the profession. You will have the opportunity to take projects from early conceptual design and design development through documentation, coordination, permitting, and construction administration.

The ideal candidate brings strong design sensibility, technical proficiency, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, interior designers, contractors, and internal project teams.

Responsibilities include:

Lead architectural projects from concept through construction
Develop thoughtful design solutions responsive to site, landscape, client goals, and budget
Produce and oversee design development and construction documentation
Coordinate structural, MEP, civil, landscape, interior design, and other project consultants
Work closely with contractors to address constructability, detailing, and field conditions
Participate in client presentations, design meetings, and project decision-making
Maintain project schedules, documentation standards, and design quality throughout delivery
Support construction administration, submittal review, RFIs, and site coordination
Mentor and collaborate with architectural staff throughout the design and documentation process

Ideal background:

Licensed Architect preferred
5+ years of post-licensure professional experience preferred
Strong background in custom residential, resort, hospitality, or similarly design-intensive architecture
Experience carrying sophisticated projects from design through construction
Strong technical detailing and construction-documentation capabilities
Excellent communication and consultant coordination skills
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced design studio
Strong understanding of materials, detailing, constructability, and building systems
Genuine interest in high-quality Mountain West architecture and site-responsive design
