Summary:Coordinates all regulatory for the Ohio Department of Health and accreditation for The Joint Commission and America College of Radiology compliance activities within the radiology services for the enterprise including recordkeeping, education, and data collection and analysis. Organizes all educational activities to include program development, scheduling, and recordkeeping for students and staff. Supports departmental process improvement initiatives through identification of process failures through data analysis, organizing teams to address issues, creating actionable plans, and presenting data to department leaders. Performs a broad range of assignments with efficiency and accuracy. Responsible for departmental policy and procedure documentation. Acts as the radiology department liaison for interdepartmental quality initiativesQualifications:
Required:
- Associates Degree in health care or related field Proven completion of a two-year course by one of the following below:
-JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology (or)
-CAAHEP approved school of Sonography (or)
-JCNMT approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Currently Registered as one of the following below:
-Registered Technologist (RT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (or)
-Registered Sonographer through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, (or)
-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
- Possess a current Radiologic Licensure through the Ohio Department of Health if applicable.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an imaging healthcare
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrates experience in data analysis
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
- Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, powerpoint, outlook)
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds
Preferred:
- Five years of experience in Radiology.
- Bachelor's Degree in HealthCare or other related field Understanding of LEAN methodology or other process improvement tools.
Physical Requirements:
- May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
- May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
- See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
- Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
- Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
- Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
- Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
- Ability to use computer.
