Expected pay for this position is $21.72 - $25.55/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview:

This job is located in Normal,IL

 

8:00am - 4:30pm

 

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Access Coordinator will serve as a dedicated escalation point for multiple functional areas and determine the appropriate outside resources that are required to support escalation. This position has a significant understanding of the revenue cycle and the importance of evaluating and securing all appropriate financial resources for patients to maximize reimbursement to the Health System.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED Other Licenses/Certifications: Required to complete all role specific revenue cycle training and certification within 12 months Experience: 1 year of direct experience in a revenue cycle or medical setting Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
