Inventory Control Coordinator

What You Will Do
  • Conduct asset inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Review inventory data to support par levels, item placement, and stockroom organization
  • Monitor inventory issues and help resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Prepare and audit daily cycle count processes
  • Create reports to support root cause analysis for inventory gaps
  • Respond to urgent inventory requests in an efficient and appropriate way
  • Use resources and supplies carefully while maintaining accurate stock levels
  • Process paperwork related to inventory, supplies, and daily duties
  • Report discrepancies, unusual activity, or inventory concerns to the lead or supervisor
  • Keep work areas, supply areas, and break areas clean, neat, and organized
  • Follow safety, infection prevention, and workplace procedures
  • Respond to patient and non-patient emergencies according to required procedures
  • Complete related duties as needed

What You Will Need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 3 years of inventory control experience
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic and inventory calculations
  • Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or supply systems
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and detailed work instructions
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Strong time management skills and flexibility with changing work needs
  • Professional behavior, appearance, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with hospital staff, physicians, vendors, and the public
