Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a contact and data processor for state and federal reporting.
- Work closely with the Assistant Manager of Data Assurance to ensure data accuracy and track reporting compliance.
- Manage institutional NC-SARA compliance and monitor compliance updates on behalf of the college.
- Work closely with the instructional team to facilitate student course evaluations and other surveys through EvaluationKIT software.
- Collaborate with the instructional team to provide course evaluation data to faculty, analyze response rates and best practices, and amend institutional processes as necessary.
- Coordinate and conduct periodic training sessions and seminars on data assurance policies and procedures for departments.
- Manage changes in information needs and coordinate the college's response to new reporting requirements.
- Adhere to all Data Assurance policies and procedures.
- Serve as backup to the Assistant Manager of Data Assurance.
- Manage data requests between various departments of the college.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist with
- Research and implementation of new data vendor software initiatives.
Risk-management and loss-prevention activities
- Maintain a working knowledge of the college's emergency procedures and actively participate in the college risk-management program.
- Monitor conditions, events and circumstances that present risk to the college community. Intervene and/or report as specified in the college's risk-management plan.
Minimum Necessary Skills, Experience, and Educational Background
- Bachelors Degree or 120 semester hours college credit or specialized related training and four years related work experience required.
- Two years of related experience with familiarity with technology operations required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Exhibit integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Spanish or French proficiency preferred.
Physical Requirements to Perform Job Function
- Basic dexterity skills (computer work, telephoning and other office equipment).
- Must have visual for analyzing date.
- Sitting for sustained periods of time.
- General physical effort required includes sitting, bending, reaching and some lifting (20 lbs. or less) and the ability to place a work order for anything over that limit.
