    High School Dual Enrollment is a program that allows high school students to earn college-level credits while completing their high school credentials. Concurrent enrollment courses are taught at the high schools, with students paying $5 per credit hour. This allows students to access college-level courses at a significantly reduced rate where students can earn a credential when graduating high school.

    Under the direction of the Assistant Director for High School Dual Enrollment, the Coordinator serves as a resource to help facilitate processes and events within the department of High School Dual Enrollment. During registration and admission times, the Coordinator will work with student, parent, or instructor requests to register students for concurrent enrollment courses. This role involves working on short-term and long-term projects related to the administration of High School Dual Enrollment.

    The Coordinator will also play a significant role in maintaining MyCE, a platform that houses all information related to Dual Enrollment processes. This role requires building relationships with internal and external stakeholders along with utilizing many Weber State software products (Ellucian Banner, MyCE, CatTracks, Argos, etc.). This is a unique role that spans across different areas within High School Dual Enrollment that will help students be successful during their time as a concurrent enrollment student at Weber State University.

    Required Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • One year of full-time college employment experience in academic advisement, registrar's services, admissions, financial aid, student services, enrollment services, or equivalent experience.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Preferred:

    • Experience working with complex systems
    • Detail oriented
    • Experience working with a team
    • Ability to be self-motivated and complete tasks independently
    • Experience coordinating events
    • Academic advising experience
    • Willingness and ability to learn software used by Weber State for High School Dual Enrollment administration needs (Ellucian Banner, MyCE, Advisor Dashboard, DegreeWorks, etc.)
