Job Responsibilities

The Coordinator of Community Belonging supports the Offices of Community Standards and the CARE Team within the Student Experience and Quality Assurance Division. This position manages student caseloads, investigates referrals, meets with students, connects them with campus resources, and promotes personal growth, accountability, and respect for the campus community through the principles of the Bearcat Creed. The ideal candidate demonstrates enthusiasm, creativity, empathy, strong organizational and documentation skills, and a commitment to student success and belonging.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Bachelors degree and relevant professional experience in higher education administration, counseling, criminal justice, behavioral sciences, compliance, or a related field. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. Valid Drivers license and safe driving record required.

Additional Comments

Knowledge of conflict resolution strategies, mediation, and behavioral intervention approaches in a student development context. Understanding of mental health concerns of college students and be comfortable with crisis response. Possess strong communication skills and empathy and provide case management services.
