Turn Student Engagement Into Meaningful Impact
At Maryville University, we know that students are most successful when they feel connected, supported, and engaged in campus life. We are seeking a highly organized, data-informed, and relationship-focused Coordinator of Assessment, Operations & Training to help shape the student experience through assessment, operational excellence, leadership development, and strategic engagement initiatives.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys blending data, technology, training, and student development to create exceptional experiences. As a key member of the Center for Student Engagement & Belonging, you'll help ensure that student engagement programs, systems, and services are intentional, effective, and continuously improving.
What You'll Do
Drive Engagement Through Technology & Systems
Serve as the primary administrator of GetInvolvedMU, Maryville's student engagement platform. You'll oversee organization registrations, event submissions, engagement tools, reporting, and troubleshooting while ensuring data integrity and effective use of technology to support student involvement and assessment efforts.
Manage Operational & Financial Processes
Help student organizations and campus partners navigate financial processes with confidence. You'll manage assigned programming budgets, review purchasing and reimbursement requests, support student organization funding processes, and serve as a key contributor to the Student Organization Finance Committee.
Lead Assessment & Data-Informed Decision Making
Transform data into action. You'll oversee engagement and belonging assessments, analyze participation trends, generate reports for university leadership, and collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities that enhance student experiences and organizational effectiveness. You'll also help facilitate the annual Student Affairs Data Walk, encouraging meaningful conversations around student success and engagement outcomes.
Develop Training & Leadership Experiences
Create and deliver training programs that equip student leaders, organizations, and staff for success. From onboarding experiences and operational workshops to leadership retreats and advisor trainings, you'll help build the skills and knowledge that strengthen campus involvement and student leadership development.
Support Signature Campus Programs
Collaborate with colleagues across Student Affairs to support major campus traditions and engagement initiatives, including Orientation/UWOW, Maryville After Dark, Homecoming, and other signature events that contribute to a vibrant student experience.
Supervise & Develop Student Staff
Provide leadership and mentorship to a Graduate Assistant, Graphic Artists, and student leaders supporting operational functions. You'll create opportunities for professional growth while ensuring high-quality service, communication, and operational consistency across the department.
