Position Summary:
Demonstrates expertise in pediatric trauma care and coordinates care across the continuum. Serves as the Pediatric Trauma Coordinator, supporting performance improvement, case review, data analysis, clinical guideline development, staff education, multidisciplinary collaboration, and trauma verification readiness. Works with Trauma Services leadership, physicians, nursing, EMS, referring facilities, and regional partners to advance pediatric trauma care, outreach, and injury prevention.
Serves as the Trauma Education Coordinator, overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of TNCC, ATLS, FCCS, and other assigned courses. Responsibilities include course scheduling, registration, faculty coordination, materials, facilities, rosters, payments, and required documentation. Functions as a clinical resource, consultant, educator, and liaison for hospital staff and community partners.
Position Qualification:
Active TN nursing license or compact state
BSN or higher preferred
