    • Manage teaching pipelines by creating and developing new and existing partnerships with colleges, universities and alternative certification departments to enhance the student teaching experience with Dallas ISD.
    • Create, lead and implement the development of the programs by establishing a multi-stage pipeline of individuals seeking to become a qualified teacher in Dallas ISD (e.g., student teachers, teacher assistants, candidates in early stages of education, "Grow Your Own" initiatives). Stages to include (1 yr-4yr plans).
    • Work collaboratively with colleges and universities in securing the approval and placement process for all program participants.
    • Identify, develop, and train both cooperative and student teachers by offering a series of ongoing training and professional development opportunities in order to build strong relationships between each mentor and student teacher.
    • Conduct campus site visits to evaluate and assess the progress of each program participant while maintaining ongoing communication with their respective mentor and cooperating teacher.
    • Create an effective and streamlined interview hiring process for all program participants upon conclusion of program requirements.
    • Coordinate structured support and special initiative agreements between the district and other partner institutions such as SMU, TWU, UNT, Texas Tech, DCCCD, Urban Teachers, Dallas Teacher Residency, etc.
    • Provide leadership input on university partnership grant-funded initiatives in order to maintain a high level of program effectiveness and success.
    • Development of both Title 1 and Title II Work scope to oversee federal funding of the Office of Student Teaching program.
    • Conduct and maintain yearlong analysis of program efforts while providing statistical report information to both district and partner stakeholders.
    • Execute multiple training HR-related sessions for program participants.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain skills and expertise in the program field area.
    • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.

    All federally funded incumbents of this position must comply with time and effort reporting requirements through personnel activity reports or periodic certification as appropriate.
