    • Develop, write, coordinate, and present content for community partners to further the development of a student-centered mindset throughout the Dallas ISD community.
    • Coordinate and develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and status reports designated by the Deputy Chief of School Improvement or School Improvement Director
    • Oversee and monitor the progress and successful completion of designated school improvement initiative, program, and project deliverables.
    • Serve as the school improvement liaison to various departments to market initiatives and events through traditional (e.g. memos, call-outs, flyers) and nontraditional (e.g. social media, digital newsletters, website) methods to encourage participation.
    • Prepare and present frequent updates, presentations, executive summaries, and other documents requested by the Deputy Chief of School Improvement and SI Director.
    • Develop and maintain an electronic library of resources for both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Attend districtwide and interdepartmental meetings with internal and external stakeholders to promote institutional collaboration and support of programs and services meetings.
    • Remain abreast of developments and research in the field of school improvement initiatives.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    • Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited university w/ five years of directly related experience preferred.
    • 5+ years of directly related experience.
    • Valid Texas Teacher Certificate with required endorsements for subject and subject level assigned,
    • Experience in corporate or nonprofit environments with success in developing and coordinating project plans.
    • Experience in working with the public and communicational media in providing information and interpreting programs, as well as a working knowledge of local media, schools, and community issues.
    • Demonstrated understanding of the impact of materials on the experience of those receiving them and mindfulness of inclusive principles in the production of materials, raising questions for team dialogue.
    • Ability to work nontraditional hours including after school, evenings and some Saturdays.
