Title: Coordinator for Student Engagement
Description: Under the supervision of the Dean for Student Experience, the Coordinator for Student Engagement is a twelve-month position responsible for coordinating and leading a comprehensive campus programming plan. The position assists students, faculty and staff in the organization of campus wide social, cultural, and recreational programs for the Hartwick College community. This is a live-on campus position.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and leads the efforts of the Campus community in developing a compressive programming plan.
Actively serves on campus committees such as (but not limited to) New Student Events, True Blue Weekend, Commencement, and Scholarship Showcase.
Serves as Campus liaison (with Student Government Association) to the Oneonta Public Transit Authority.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (a Master's degree is preferred) with one to three years' experience in higher education or related field. Type of experience needed includes advising college students, event planning, public speaking, contract negotiation, ability to supervise students effectively, and ability to collaborate with many campus departments. Membership in a student affairs professional organization is preferred, most notably National Association of Campus Activities.
Salary- $62,400
