Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as a Coordinating Manager. Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Safety, with latitude for independent judgment and initiative, assist in the planning, organizing, controlling, coordination of administrative, and office operations in a variety of organizational settings and modalities in the delivery of business and management support systems, health care and patient support systems. Integrates these programs, functions and services with other disciplines, health care facilities and other departmental agencies to maximize optimal levels of performance in the coordination of such activities.

 

Job Description

  • Assists in planning for the service/program through consultation with management and clinical staff and other associated health care fields in order to coordinate joint patient and management objectives.
  • Assists in planning, development and may conduct training programs to maintain proficiency of personnel and for use of new equipment and implementation of methods and procedures.
  • Evaluates office production, revises procedures or devises new forms or methods to improve efficiency of workflow.
  • Performs data entry and retrieval of records, lists, and statistical information; reviews statistical reports for accuracy and initiates procedures to resolve deficiencies; and compiles and enters data, makes calculations, and prepares charts, graphs, databases, summaries, and reports.
  • Reviews official directives and correspondence to ascertain such data as changes prescribed in Corporate, facility or department programs, policies, procedures and new assignments or responsibilities delegated to office.
  • Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
  • May provide for administrative supervision for a program of comprehensive health service of professional and non-professional staff and related health care personnel.
  • Assists in scheduling meetings and appointments within the department and external entities. 
  • Reviews, prepares and rewrites operational manuals and procedures. 
  • Arranging necessary departmental repairs and ordering stationery and equipment.

 

Skills Required

  • One (1) year of administrative experience and background
  • General knowledge of policies and programs utilized in the operation of health care facility, ability to assimilate and analyze data, to recommend action based on analytical findings, and to assist in the solution of complex problems in health care administration and management.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in healthcare administration, Hospital Administration, Public Health, Administrative Medicine, or a related field is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of training, education and experience in related fields and educational disciplines

 

Additional requirements

  • Shift Time: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

 

Pay rate

  • $30- $35 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
