Summary
Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Marketing and Communications Manager, assists in the gathering and preparation of information about the Foundations, their programs and projects, for dissemination through the media and relevant internal and external audiences. Supports the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing and communication strategies that advance the Foundations' mission, programs, fundraising initiatives, special events, and community outreach efforts. Assists in the production of internal and external communications and publications, maintains and updates digital communication platforms, and provides administrative support for marketing and communications activities. Provides timely and accurate metrics measuring digital and online performance return related to the Foundations’ donor engagement, digital giving, program outreach, and impact stories. Participates in the planning and coordination of Foundation events and represents the Foundations at community and media relations activities. Evening and weekend work may be required to support events, community engagement, media opportunities, leadership initiatives, and other Foundation activities.
Minimum Job Requirements
Work Experience:
Three years of experience in public relations, news media, public affairs, advertising, health communications, public administration, marketing, communication/management, community relations/outreach, business development or related field required. Experience working with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. Marketing education or similar experience preferred. General understanding of Associated Press writing style.

Education and Training:
High School Diploma required. Associates degree preferred.
