    SALARY: Per the current Harrison County Schools Extra Curricular Pay Schedule

    FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

    1. Determine student cooperative education experiences are "quality" work experiences (i.e. jobs are closely linked to students' chosen career clusters and skilled concentrations).

    2. Determine that students meet criteria for participation (i.e. students are completers in a skilled concentration and will meet all graduation requirements).

    3. Receive student applications with all necessary signatures.

    4. Receive parental consent forms (i.e. emergency medical, liability, etc.)

    5. Provide orientation for students; including topies such as appropriate dress, behavior, and punctuality and attendance.

    6. Contact cooperative education employers when necessary to check students work progress. Contact by phone, email, etc.

    7. Collect student logs every six weeks to verify number of hours students are working.

    8. Collect 21st Century Standards Profile for Cooperative Education forms from employers.

    9. Award student credits, if due.

    10. Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as assigned by the County Career/Technical Education Director may from time to time assign.
