Prep Cook Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals according to established menus to meet tenants' dietary and nutritional needs
Assist with ordering food and supplies, ensuring the kitchen remains well-stocked and organized
Manage food inventory, including sorting, labeling, and dating items for proper rotation and safety
Maintain a clean and sanitary food production area, following proper sanitization and waste disposal procedures
Update and maintain tenant menu boards to ensure clear, accurate communication
Support the Food Service Manager by assisting with the supervision and coordination of dietary staff

Prep Cook Qualifications
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
Previous experience in food preparation or work with the elderly preferred
Ability to work as a team member and resolve problems constructively
One year of instructional food service or equivalent food prep/cooking experience
Basic math and computer skills
