Our client, a prominent organization in the food service industry, is seeking a dedicated Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be an essential part of the Food Services Department supporting the daily operations of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for preparing quality food, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Prepare and cook a variety of foods following established recipes and standards
• Monitor food quality by tasting, smelling, and testing temperatures to ensure safety and standards are met
• Carve meats, portion food, and add garnishes to ensure appealing presentation
• Adjust oven, grill, and steam kettle temperatures to maintain proper cooking conditions
• Follow department policies, work schedules, and safety procedures to ensure efficient food service

What's Needed?

• Ability to measure and mix ingredients accurately using various kitchen utensils and equipment
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards team members and customers
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
