Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare various food items and meals following proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Ensure quality, consistency, and beautiful presentation of all dishes
- Lead and train kitchen staff while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Manage inventory, ordering, and waste control using FIFO food rotation
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with other departments, guests, and vendors
Banquet Chef Specific Duties
- Coordinate food and beverage for banquets and catering events
- Work closely with Front of House catering coordinators to ensure smooth event execution
- Analyze Banquet Event Orders for accurate food and beverage planning
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year cooking experience; leadership experience preferred
- ServSafe Manager certification required
- Ability to work independently with professionalism and diplomacy
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform kitchen tasks
- Availability for day, night, weekend, and flexible shifts (8 or 10 hour)
