ROLE:

The Park Hyatt Chicago is looking for a Cook 3 to join our dynamic kitchen team at NoMI, one of Chicago's premier dining destinations.

As a Cook 3, you will be responsible for working single stations in the kitchen, requiring minimal supervision and training. You should have a professional understanding of cooking ingredients, techniques, and plating. Ideal candidates will also possess strong communication skills, a solid culinary background, and experience in fine-dining or luxury settings.

Wage Information:

The hourly rate for this position is $27.33, reflective of the competitive compensation offered at Park Hyatt Chicago. This position is also eligible for overtime and premium pay under applicable circumstances.

Qualifications

  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous line experience preferred
  • Experience working in a luxury/fine-dining scale environment
  • Culinary degree or related culinary experience is preferred
  • Candidate should be able to perform all intermediate cooking skills
  • Able to work single station in the kitchen
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends, and holidays
