    Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate and mining equipment industry since 1946, is seeking a motivated Conveyor Belt Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on position is responsible for the installation, splicing, repair, and maintenance of conveyor belt systems at both customer job sites and in our shop. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with travel and physical demands. This role plays a critical part in delivering the high level of service and reliability Kimball Equipment is known for across the Western United States.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform conveyor belt splicing, vulcanizing, and repairs on a variety of conveyor belt systems
    • Install, inspect, and maintain conveyor belts and related components
    • Travel to customer job sites to perform field service work
    • Troubleshoot belt-related issues and recommend repair solutions
    • Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company and industry standards
    • Organize and document service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities
    • Assist with shop fabrication and belt preparation as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Previous conveyor belt vulcanizing, splicing, or industrial maintenance experience preferred
    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
    • Ability to handle physical workload in various weather conditions
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
    • Willingness to travel and work occasional overtime as required
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Valid driver's license required
    • CDL or ability to obtain a CDL preferred
