This position works closely with the Converting Press Operator to safely and efficiently produce high-quality medical and non-medical products while meeting customer specifications and stringent quality standards.
Assist the Converting Press Operator with daily press operations and production activities.
Operate Delta press equipment and utilize touch-screen controls.
Read and interpret customer drawings, measurements, tolerances, blueprints, and job tickets.
Set up and insert rotary dies, splice roll materials, and assist with laminating multiple materials and adhesives.
Adjust press speed, tension, alignment, gear ratios, and re-registration as needed to maintain product quality.
Attach, operate, and detach finishing equipment used on the press.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
Remove waste and finished rolls from the press.
Complete production documentation and track time and materials through the LabelTraxx job-costing system.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform daily preventative maintenance and report additional maintenance needs to the production lead.
