Overview
The Contractor Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Strategist will be responsible for improving the effectiveness of key digital experiences across the organization's web properties. This role helps drive qualified lead generation by analyzing user behavior, identifying conversion barriers, and implementing data-driven optimization strategies that improve engagement and pipeline outcomes.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced CRO Strategist with a strong background in B2B SaaS and enterprise software marketing. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in conversion optimization, experimentation, analytics, and buyer journey analysis. Success in this role requires a data-driven professional who can translate user insights into measurable improvements in demo requests, content downloads, event registrations, and marketing-generated pipeline opportunities.
Responsibilities
Analyze buyer journeys and conversion funnels across enterprise website experiences to identify friction points and drop-off areas.
Map user behavior across multiple buyer personas, including business and technical decision-makers.
Develop and execute A/B tests and multivariate experiments to improve conversion rates and user engagement.
Optimize landing pages, solution pages, resource centers, and other high-value digital experiences.
Improve enterprise lead capture forms and conversion paths while maintaining lead quality standards.
Develop testing hypotheses based on quantitative and qualitative user data.
Utilize analytics platforms, session recordings, click maps, and behavioral insights to support experimentation strategies.
Measure and report on experiment performance, conversion improvements, and business impact.
Partner with Product Marketing, Brand, Content, SEO, and Web Development teams to implement optimization initiatives.
Support optimization efforts within an enterprise Optimizely Digital Experience Platform (DXP) environment.
Track and evaluate the downstream impact of optimization efforts on lead quality, opportunity creation, and pipeline generation.
Present findings, recommendations, and performance results to stakeholders and business leaders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Growth Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related disciplines.
Proven experience within B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or technology-focused organizations.
Advanced experience with web analytics platforms, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or comparable solutions.
Hands-on experience designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests and multivariate experiments using Optimizely or similar enterprise testing platforms.
Strong understanding of buyer journey mapping, funnel analysis, and user behavior optimization.
Experience leveraging heatmaps, session recordings, clickstream analysis, and behavioral analytics tools.
Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, or similar systems.
Demonstrated success improving lead-to-opportunity conversion rates, lead generation performance, or marketing-generated pipeline.
Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Development, SEO, and Content.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working within enterprise website environments and digital experience platforms preferred.
Knowledge of statistical testing methodologies and experimentation best practices preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote contract environment.
