    Controls Technician – Casper, WY

    Overview:

    A well-established building automation and energy integration firm with over 30 years in the industry is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join its team in Casper, WY. This role supports a wide mix of service, retrofit, and new construction projects across multiple sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong BAS troubleshooting experience, a solid understanding of controls programming, and a desire to work in a collaborative, field-focused environment.

    Position Details:

    • Title: Controls Technician
    • Location: Casper, WY (regional travel required)
    • Salary: Up to $45/hr
    • Overtime: Available based on workload
    • Vehicle: Company vehicle provided

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, commission, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS)
    • Work with DDC controllers and HVAC-related field devices
    • Conduct point-to-point testing and complete commissioning protocols
    • Review, modify, and update BAS programs and sequences of operation
    • Assist with equipment startup and system integration activities
    • Communicate professionally with end users, contractors, and internal teams
    • Maintain accurate documentation for installation, programming, and testing

    Qualifications:

    • Experience as a Controls Technician or similar BAS-focused role
    • Strong BAS troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
    • Solid understanding of HVAC systems and control fundamentals
    • Programming experience preferred (Schneider or Tridium a plus)
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
    • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
