Controls Technician – Casper, WY
Overview:
A well-established building automation and energy integration firm with over 30 years in the industry is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join its team in Casper, WY. This role supports a wide mix of service, retrofit, and new construction projects across multiple sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong BAS troubleshooting experience, a solid understanding of controls programming, and a desire to work in a collaborative, field-focused environment.

- Title: Controls Technician
- Location: Casper, WY (regional travel required)
- Salary: Up to $45/hr
- Overtime: Available based on workload

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Work with DDC controllers and HVAC-related field devices
- Conduct point-to-point testing and complete commissioning protocols
- Review, modify, and update BAS programs and sequences of operation
- Assist with equipment startup and system integration activities
- Communicate professionally with end users, contractors, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate documentation for installation, programming, and testing
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Controls Technician or similar BAS-focused role
- Strong BAS troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and control fundamentals
- Programming experience preferred (Schneider or Tridium a plus)
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
