Controls Technician Supervisor Job Summary: A Controls Technician Supervisor provides technical direction and team resource planning for the building of electrical control panels in accordance with governing standards. ResponsibilitiesSchedules team tasks and adjusts priority(s) as needed to conform to the master schedule and deadlinesCorresponds with the Production Manager for high level resource planning and schedulingMaintains UL508A panel shop through current conformance to codes, standards, and best practicesEnsure the build of industrial control panels are in accordance with the current version of applicable electrical codes including:NEC or local codesUL508A: Industrial Control PanelsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganizational ability and proven attention to detailTroubleshoot and correct programming bugs during factory acceptance and quality checksAbility to work independently or with a team on electrical system designsMaintain current journeyman or master electrical licenseOversee building electrical maintenanceOther duties as assignedThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job function.
