The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC and controls systems, including PLCs, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and SCADA platforms.What You'll DoControls & Building AutomationInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot control automation systems for commercial and residential HVAC equipmentUnderstand equipment control functions through PLCs within BAS (Building Automation Systems) or SCADA platformsPerform calibration, configuration, servicing, and maintenance of control systems and their subsystemsUse system diagnostic tools to perform routine updates, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems efficientlyTechnical & Field SupportRead and interpret schematic diagrams to understand system designs and operationsWork effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and with team and management supportMaintain knowledge of and experience with Schneider, JCI, Siemens, Pritchett, or NAVSys control systems or platformsWhat We're Looking ForProven knowledge and understanding of HVAC and controls systemsFamiliarity with PLCs, BAS, or SCADA platformsPrior experience in controls systems or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively and work collaborativelyPreferred QualificationsBACnet or MODBUS certificationsNiagara CertificationExperience with CoolAutomation systemsWhat We OfferCompetitive base salaryComprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time Off (PTO) and holidays401(k) retirement planOpportunities for career growth and professional developmentReady to Grow With VMG?If you're an experienced controls professional looking to advance your career in HVAC and Building Automation, we'd love to hear from you.
