Controls Service Technician – Philadelphia, PA – $31–$48/hr + Company Vehicle + 3 Weeks PTO

Position Details:

• Title: Controls Service Technician
• Location: Philadelphia, PA (travel within metro & regional markets)
• Status: Full-Time | Field-Based | Non-Union

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining BAS systems
• Comfortable performing commissioning, point-to-point checkout, and revising sequences
• Skilled in preventative maintenance, system diagnostics, and controls repairs
• Familiar with platforms such as Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or Tridium
• Strong communication abilities and collaborative team mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair issues on existing Building Automation Systems
• Commission new installations and retrofit control systems according to specifications
• Modify, optimize, or rewrite BAS control sequences as needed
• Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and system evaluations
• Identify hardware issues and apply necessary firmware or software updates
• Work cross-functionally with the controls team to meet service and project goals
• Deliver responsive, customer-focused service to end users and facility teams

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $31.00 – $48.00/hr (DOE)
• Overtime: Common during summer season
