    PLC/Controls Technician

    Responsibilities:
    • Execute Safety and Continuous Improvement Projects, engage in and fully support all TCOS initiatives
    • Provide production support and leadership as it relates to electrical safety, controls, and equipment operation
    • Install, Configure, Maintain, Troubleshoot, and Repair:
    • Foundry Equipment and Automation Cells
    • Allen Bradley Hardware
    • 480V 3 phase power distribution
    • Conduit, Power/Controls
    • Install and repair industrial electronic equipment
    • Process control hardware
    • VFD’s, Soft Starts, Motor Starters
    • Assist/lead electrical integration of capital expenditure projects
    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Minimum 2 years Allen Bradley PLC automation experience
    • Solid mechanical/electrical aptitude and problem solving
    • Must be able to read electrical schematics and PLC programming
    • Ability to make quick decisions in a fast paced, team-oriented work environment
    • Willingness to work in cold/hot environment
    • Industrial Electrical Experience 3+ years
    • Highly Motivated self-starter and driven to win as a team

     

    Preferred:

    • Robotic Experience: Motoman and ABB
    • 3+ years of maintenance experience
    • Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
    • Contractor, Vendor Management
    • AutoCAD Electrical experience
    • Project Leadership experience
    • Associate’s Degree in industrial maintenance or related field
