    Controls Technician – Knoxville, TN – Up to $115,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits

    About the Opportunity:

    A well-established HVAC and building automation contractor is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to support ongoing BAS projects throughout the Knoxville, TN region. This position offers strong earning potential, long-term stability, and the opportunity to work with a collaborative technical team. The company delivers complete building automation, HVAC controls, and integration solutions for clients across healthcare, education, industrial, and commercial facilities.

    Position Details:

    • Title: Controls Technician
    • Location: Knoxville, TN
    • Status: Full-Time | Field-Based | Minimal Overtime

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Experience working as a Controls Technician, BAS Service Tech, or similar role
    • Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining BAS equipment
    • Hands-on knowledge of Tridium programming and updating sequences
    • Capable of installing, wiring, and testing building automation components
    • Strong understanding of commissioning, point-to-point verification, and system checkout
    • Clear communicator with building owners, end users, and general contractors
    • Organized, team-focused, and detail-oriented

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain, diagnose, and repair building automation and HVAC control systems
    • Assist with programming tasks on Tridium Niagara platforms
    • Install and test system hardware, controllers, and field devices
    • Support system startup, equipment termination, and field integration
    • Perform software updates, diagnostics, and corrective repairs on BAS installations
    • Collaborate with internal installation, service, and engineering teams

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Hourly Rate: Up to $115,000 annually (DOE)
    • Bonus: Discretionary
