Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Controls Technician to join their team. Responsibilities:
Design, program, troubleshoot, and modify industrial control systems.
Develop, maintain, and support PLC and HMI applications.
Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, automation, and controls-related issues.
Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and system upgrades.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and control documentation.
Partner with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
Identify and implement improvements to equipment safety, reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
Document system modifications, troubleshooting activities, and technical solutions.
Provide hands-on support to keep manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree, 2-year technical degree, or technical certificate in a relevant field preferred.
3+ years of experience with PLC programming and industrial automation.
Working knowledge of electrical controls, instrumentation, and industrial communication networks.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
