    Summary:

    Our award-winning client is seeking a Controls Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with PLC and industrial automation experience who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting and working closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams.     Responsibilities:

    • Design, program, troubleshoot, and modify industrial control systems.

    • Develop, maintain, and support PLC and HMI applications.

    • Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, automation, and controls-related issues.

    • Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and system upgrades.

    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and control documentation.

    • Partner with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to resolve equipment and process issues.

    • Identify and implement improvements to equipment safety, reliability, efficiency, and productivity.

    • Document system modifications, troubleshooting activities, and technical solutions.

    • Provide hands-on support to keep manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Associate degree, 2-year technical degree, or technical certificate in a relevant field preferred.

    • 3+ years of experience with PLC programming and industrial automation.

    • Working knowledge of electrical controls, instrumentation, and industrial communication networks.

    • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation systems in a manufacturing environment.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Military candidates transitioning to civilian careers are encouraged to apply if they have relevant technical experience.
